NetNewsWire 1.0 has officially shipped. Which is great news. Thanks to Brent for all the work he did in getting this out.

The only problems I have with it now is in its user interface. While providing amazing functionality, I can't use the weblog, It is vastly complex and frustrating. There are three menus that open windows in the program. The Notepad menu, View menu and Window menu. All window opening commands should be placed in the Window menu. The View menu should then be modified to contain items that change the view of the windows. Such as customize toolbar, showing drawers, and possibly moving the "Show column" preferences from the General Preferences to the view menu. Finally the Notepad menu would ideally be dynamic and only be shown when the Notepad is the frontmost window.

And the preference window needs to be cleaned up. General needs to be trimmed and spread out.
